Southern Roots Spice is a modern spice shop focused on helping you understand the world of spices and layering flavors. Our products are carefully selected from all over the US, with a mission of sourcing from independent sellers who focus on natural and organic products, free of chemicals or pesticides. Whether it’s garlic from Gilroy, CA or sage from Idaho’s Purple Sage Farms, you can be assured our products are the best of the best.

We carry over 100 individual spices and more than 130 custom blends. Our spices are dried in small lots at low temperatures to preserve the plant’s natural oils and moisture. The result of this process is a product with truly superior color, aroma, flavor and shelf-life, allowing you to experience the best form of your dried spices. In addition, we hand mix all of our custom blends, and offer in-store creation of a custom blend all your own!
